REIDSVILLE RURAL CARRIER RANDY HANKS RETIRES
Randy Hanks, Rural Carrier from the Reidsville Post Office retired with 32 years of service on October 31st, 2022. Randy was a safety advocate as a member of the Emergency Evacuation Team, and the Joint Labor and Management Safety and Health Committee. He was a local union steward as well as the Vice President of the Rockingham County District Union. Postmaster Mike Steiner ll aptly described Randy as a solid employee that the office could count on to be at work every day, complete his duties safely and timely, having never received a customer complaint. Randy recently received his Million Mile Award for zero at fault motor vehicle accidents, a major achievement in today’s treacherous roads. His co-workers and the office will miss his hearty laugh and his tireless commitment to United States Postal Service.
