BOONE LETTER CARRIERS KEEP THE MAIL MOVING DURING STORM RECOVERY

The carriers in Boone are making every effort to keep the mail going during Hurricane Helene recovery.  Letter Carriers have received donations of mailboxes from family and friends and are distributing them to families who lost their mailboxes during flood waters.  There are many needs in western North Carolina, but the simple routine of checking for mail is a grounding activity for residents.  They can continue receiving medicine, care packages, and cards, providing relief and everyday mail.  #NCSTRONG
